Mary J. Blige’s estranged husband seeking spousal support

It's more drama for Mary J. Blige. The R&B singer's ex-husband Kendu Isaacs is seeking spousal support, according to TMZ following their plan to divorce in July.
The gossip website said that Blige, 45, is trying to block Isaacs, who was also her manager, from receiving any support.
It's unknown if the couple, who married in 2003, have a prenup. He is also requesting she pay his lawyer's fees.

According to documents obtained by the Daily News, the Bronx-born artist cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.
The date of separation is listed as "to be determined."
The nine-time Grammy winner is estimated to be worth $10 million, according to Celebritynetworth.com.

Blige in the past credited her marriage to Isaacs for helping her quit alcohol and drugs.
"After I met him, everything changed in my life," she told Parade magazine in 2007. "He was the first person to ever challenge what I did. 'Why are you drinking? Why do you hate yourself? You don't need to be around people who tear you down. You're beautiful, Mary.'"
