So many times we all wish we could turn back the
hands of time to make some wrongs right, we lost our way/focus on the way and
start blaming people especially love ones around us about what we did not
achieve, we often forget that we are the author of our life, the only person
who could determine how his/her life is going to be.
I remember a story I once stumbled on, This
particular guy married and blessed with two kids, blamed his wife every day for
his loss, he feels like he has not achieved enough and he feels he stopped
living in his dream because he stopped being the famous, good looking basketballer he used to be when he was young, he grew up and lost his way. Every day he wished he could just turn the
hands of time and be young again in other to put things right, but you know
what. Wish they say comes true.
He actually
became young again and he could do just anything he wants to do, but the
funniest part was when he saw his kids and what they all do and pass through in
school, he realized he has not been much of a great father to them, he has not
been a great mentor especially to his son, he saw his wife and realized she
also had to kill her dream just to be with him, but she on the other hand was
trying her possible best to give the children the best love and proper care
they deserve and also trying to start up a little business all over again, he
became so sad and wished he had seen all these things before it is too late, but
you know the best part is “He who chooses the right path will never go
astray”. He decided to follow his heart once again and wished
everything would be normal once again, he prayed for peace to reign in his home
again with him doing what was right this time around.
At last things ended up
well for him. Then he realized that, even if you were unable to achieve all
that you ever dreamed of when growing up, you can actually make a difference at
your present age. You can change the world at whatever age and time you stop
blaming others for your failure, because the race they say is not to the swift,
starting well does not really matter it is finishing well that really matters
in life.
Colonel Sanders became the founder of Kentucky Fried
Chicken at the age of 88, remember that he passed through a lot and at age 65
he was ready to commit suicide before he thought to himself, “There is
something I know how to do best, better than anybody around”. He used his
secret recipe to start up again at an old age.
It is never too late to start up again, it is never
too late to achieve your dreams, it is never too late to make an impact. It is
never too late to become the billionaire you have always dreamed of being. It
is never too late to be happy, it is never too late to rise up again. Stop
blaming people for your mistake, rather blame yourself and pick up the piece
and start again. “DREAMS DO COME TRUE
ONLY IF YOU FOLLOW THE RIGHT PATH”.
