10 Signs You Are Having A Quarter-Life Crisis (But It’s Perfectly Fine)

Are you going through your twenties, and constantly feel like your life is more weird and confusing than the plot of Inception? Have you got no idea where your career is heading, why your relationships are changing or why you’re feeling so lost all the time?
Fear not. While it may feel like you’re going crazy and your life is falling to pieces before your very eyes, what you’re going through is a rite of passage experienced by everyone as they moved through the turbulent twenties – as your doctor would say (in a very doctor-ish voice), ‘my diagnosis is a Quarter-Life Crisis, and it’s perfectly normal thing for people your age.’
The twenties are often described as a time to set yourself up, lay foundations for the future and learn how to make safe, intelligent life decisions. But if there was a survival pack for your twenties, it would contain a user manual with diagrams of young people being hit repeatedly by large trucks, a bunch of ‘look on the bright side’ quote cards, and a life vest with a whistle that attracts the attention of your parents’ harsh opinions.
Put simply, the quarter-life crisis is a time of transitioning from early to late twenties, childhood to adulthood, and adapting to the changes that come with that. But while it can feel banging your head against a cold office desk most of the time, there’s actually nothing to worry about because life takes on a whole new level of meaning and beauty after the storm is over. When you’re going through the eye of a storm, though, it can be challenging to see the full picture and meaning of what you’re feeling.
Here are 10 signs that you’re in the middle of one of these points in your life, and why everything is actually perfectly OK.

9 Characteristics Of Highly Desirable Women

The dictionaries define “Desirable” as “worth having or wanting; pleasant, excellent or fine.”
Any man or woman who has dreamed of a future has probably created an image of what he or she would desire most in their partner. And most women have probably wished to be more desirable at some point. While the world keeps hankering over what exactly are the characteristics of highly desirable women, the truth is that we can only speculate. The definition will keep evolving.
However, we can safely say that highly desirable women will likely have the following nine characteristics.

8 Reasons People Who Like Spending Time Alone Are Smarter and Stronger

Today’s society encourages us to spend as much time as possible with other people; even when we are alone, we are texting, emailing, phoning, and Skyping each other. We are always expected to be doing something or going somewhere, but there are actually lots of benefits to spending time alone.
Solitude isn’t very popular in our constantly connected world, and often people who spend time alone are assumed to be lonely or sad. However, this is rarely the case; lots people enjoy spending time alone because it benefits them psychologically. Spending time alone is actually good for us, and it gives us the chance to relax and recharge.

What Not To Do Anymore When You Turn 24

Congratulations on making it to 24! You’re still young, but you’re starting to move into fully-mature adulthood. So how exactly should you change you life for the better? Start by following this guide that outlines 10 things you should stop doing right now!

Why It’s Definitely Fine That You Fall Behind In Life Sometimes

We’ve all been there. We’ve all experienced those times in life when you are utterly confused about your life purpose, you get a sense that you aren’t where you thought you’d be by now, and you secretly compare your life to those around you, using them as a benchmark to your own. Life is full of “should” and “shouldn’ts” that lead us to feeling pressure and unhappiness.
You lack motivation and that inspired action just isn’t coming to you. You start to panic that it’ll never come and you’ll stay in this space of dissatisfaction forever. If this sounds familiar, then you’re not alone. We often end up at a stage in life that isn’t anywhere where we thought we were going to be, but I’m here to tell you that it’s okay. Here is why falling behind in life isn’t as bad as we perceive it to be.

QUOTES OF THE DAY

Life is like riding a bicycle, for you to maintain balance,  you need to keep moving
Success is equal to X+Y+Z where X is work, Y is play and Z is keeping your mouth shut
Those who think they are too wise to get involved in politics are often being punished by being ruled by foolish people
Small minds talk about people, big minds talk about events while great minds talk about ideas

3 Ways to Feel Good When Things Seem Bad

“It isn’t what happens to us that causes us to suffer; it’s what we say to ourselves about what happens.” ~Pema Chodron
Have you ever had something happen in your life that completely changed everything?
Wham. Suddenly you haven’t left your bedroom in days, you can’t remember what it feels like to shower, and it’s clear the only friend you can really count on is your cat.
And whether it’s a major life-suck event or a minor one, the question is: How can I feel contented and calm when things don’t go to plan?
That is what this post is about. Because a while back I had a M. A. J. O. R. Major event. It went like this:

Make the change now when the window is still open

“Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there’s still time to change the road you’re on.”
We all have choices in our lives. In business, in relationships, with our health, and with our money. We do the best we can with the information we have in front of us. We try new things. Set off in new directions. Expand our comfort zone.
Some times it works great. Other times, not so much.

9 Keys To Confidence

You see THEM all around you:
Walking confidently into a bar and asking someone for their number.
Expressing their views in a company town hall meeting.
Asking the dreaded question to their boss. All these folks are reeking of confidence!! Do you wish you had the confidence that they possess, to do the things they do and say the perfect things they say?
When you hear the word ‘successful’ who comes to your mind first? Someone on TV or real life who seems to feel no fear and says the perfect thing and does things confidently, right? Yes, Confidence is tied to success, and vice versa.
There are several assumptions we make about these confident people.
Firstly, we assume confident people are born that way and possess a natural ability to do or say things that you cannot do or say. They can walk into a bar and talk to someone, because it is an innate ability that they possess. Because of their ‘inborn gift’, they can go anywhere, say anything and do anything.

I will dump even a ‘billionaire’ husband who cannot satisfy me in bed – Miss Tourism Nigeria

Current Miss Tourism Nigeria, Faithfulness Kennedy, has said if her partner cannot satisfy her in bed, she will dump him without having a second thought.
The undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt shared her thought on premarital sex in a chat with newsmen.
Faithfulness said, “Sex is healthy for a relationship; it obviously builds a connection between the partners, it builds a kind of bond and trust.
“In this our modern world, everybody’s eye is shining, imagine dating for two years without sex
