DEPEND
The last step in the process of forgiving others is to depend on the holy spirit to help you do what you have just made a quality decision to do. Just deciding isn't enough. It is vital but it is still not enough, because will power alone won't work. we need divine strength from God's spirit who lives in us and is always available to help us do the will of God.
In God's kingdom, independence is not an attractive trait, and it is not one that works, We encourage our children to grow up and become independent, but the more we grow up in God, or the more spiritually mature we become, the more dependent we are to become on him.
For you to forgive a hurt that is so deep in your heart, you need to depend solely on God to help you out. Are you frustrated because you're trying to do things that are just not working and yet you really believe they are godly things that you should be doing? Depend on God
