Re-Create yourself by forging a new identity, one that command attention and
never bore the audience. Be the master of your own image rather than letting
others define it for you. Incorporate dramatic device into your public gesture
and action – your power will be enhanced and your character will seem larger than
life.
The character you seem to have been born with is not
necessarily who you are; beyond the characteristic you have inherited, your parent, your friend and your peer have helped to shape your personality.
The first step in the process of self-creation is self-conscience
– being aware of yourself as an actor and taking control of our appearance and
emotion. The second step in the process of self-creation is the creation of a
memorable character, one that compel attention, that stand out above the other
player on the stage. Finally learn to play many role, to be whatever the moment
requires. Adapt your mask to the situation – be protean in the face you wear.
