The Oyo State Police Command has arrested a robbery suspect, one Felix Ademola.

Ademola, an ex-convict, who left prison a few months ago, was paraded along with other robbery suspects at the state command headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan, Oyo State.

He was said to be robbing some residents of the state, together with his gang members, when he was arrested.

INEC trains 204 staff ahead of Ondo governorship election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has commenced the training of 204 e-collation staff of the commission for the Nov. 26 governorship election in Ondo State.

Mr Olubunmi Egbeeye, Head of Voters Registration and ICT in the state, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Akure that the training was necessary for the conduct of the election.

FG reviews cost profiles of revenue generating agencies

The Federal Government said on Thursday that it had commenced the review of the cost profile of all its revenue generating agencies.

Speaking at a two-day National Revenue Retreat in Kano, the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, said that the measure was necessary in order to ensure that maximum operating surpluses were declared and remitted in compliance with the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
