Marriage slowed us down –Artquake


When the name Artquake is mentioned, what readily comes to mind is the singing duo, Adex and Ice K that sang the hit song, ‘Alanta’ that rocked the airwaves in 2009. ‎Amodu complained of chest pain, died of frustration – Cousin

A relative of the late Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, ‎Shaibu Amodu, has said that the former Super Eagles coach died after complaining of pain in the left side of his chest.
Akuri Afegbua, who is a cousin to the late Shaibu, also said that the late coach died of frustration from the alleged non-payment of his financial entitlements by the NFF and the Edo State Government.

Eighty-three-year old Nwanyidinma looked disconsolate as she sat in front of her thatched, mud house. There was no one to keep her company apart from her little ‘bingo’ dog and a host of chicken strolling round her premises. Occasionally, she used the horsetail in her hands to chase the dog away from the chicken. In the animal world, it would not be out of place to conclude that the animals were playing hide and seek in this peaceful environment. That, however, is not for Nwanyidinma.
The weather was cool and breezy and so she was just out there watching the movement of the leafy orange trees and palm trees in her neighbourhood.

N1.04tn fine: NCC, MTN agree on staggered payment

After about six months of negotiation over the N1.04tn fine imposed on MTN Nigeria by the Nigerian Communications Commission, the fine was on Friday reduced to N330bn.
In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Friday, Director of Public Affairs at NCC, Mr. Tony Ojobo, said the payment would be made over a period of three years.

Drowned Unilag students buried amid tears
