The number of telecoms subscribers in the country has declined by 4,562,862 in the last six months, the latest statistics from the Nigerian Communications Commission have shown.
According to statistics obtained from the regulatory agency, a total of 152,123,172 subscribed to telecommunications services by the end of November 2015. However, by the end of April 2016, the total number of active subscribers had declined to 147,560,310.
